Another podcast in the works.

It's late here (very), but I just wanted to update to say that I have just finished recording a new podcast with Martin Bregman & Mike Darter all about refereeing.

It was a great fun to record and will be available from www.thejudopodcast.eu this weekend under the title "The Dark side of the force" or "Shooting players", I havn't decided which. ;)

Bon Jour....

Oh boy, I have been invited to coach a French team visiting here in the UK this Saturday prior to a friendly team match.

Must get the French phrase book out.

Looking forward to taking this session I have been asked to teach, partly because I was asked to coach because apparently I can offer "something different".

Not sure it's a complement, but I will assume it is. :)

So now I am going to have to deliver on that expectation, oh no!
Should be a laugh, there is a social afterwards, that should be good. If anyone is in Portsmouth this weekend let me know, I am sure you'd be welcome!

EJU Moscow Super World Cup - Free Video Stream

Forwarded to me today:
----
Dear Fellow Judoka,

We need your help!! Super World Cup will be for FREE

As you know, the European Judo Union has been working diligently on
broadcasting LIVE the major EJU events over our homepage for the price of 2 euro. We have decided to broadcast the SUPER WORLD CUP from Moscow for FREE!!

We would like to ask for your support, in promoting the broadcast of the Super World Cup from Moscow. Please post news about this on your club website as soon as possible moreover that its FREE, including that the SWC may be viewed live for FREE, at www.eujudo.com. Also if you could inform all your Judoka it would be very helpful.

This project has and is currently yielding a significant loss, however we hope to have the sufficient number of visitors to be able to broadcast it for FREE entirely from this moment forward. This is not possible however if we cannot reach the sufficient number of viewers, so PLEASE work diligently to broadcast this information to all your judo Networks, especially in England, so we can achieve this goal for judo, and provide FREE all the judo tournaments.

To give our fellow judoka the pleasure of viewing judo, as well as a preview of the video quality, we will be broadcasting videos from the previous tournaments that will be viewable for FREE at www.eujudo.com.

There will be three broadcasts every day, so go to the homepage for
the schedule. Please be sure to add this information on your website AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

With your help and the help of your federation we can make JUDO
available FREE OF CHARGE.

We would like to wish you and your federation the best, and to thank you, in advance, for your assistance towards judo.

Kind Regards,

Office of the President
European Judo Union

PlanetJudo.com update

Hi all,
PlanetJudo.com is progressing, I spent some time adding more feeds tonight. There are almost 30 now. I had to remove some that don't work, I think it is something to do with the underlying softwares parsing...maybe.

anyway, please let me know what you think of it, definitely email me any links to sites that have feeds that I have not included. Finally if you know of a site that does not have a feed, tell them, ask them to make one. Or you run a site without a feed let me know and I'll do what I can to help.

FAME! I'm gonna live forever!

I am in the latest The World of Judo magazine, cool! There is a interview with me about the podcast which is great as it will hopefully get more people listening and more people coming on the episodes.
I am also pleased that Bob included a link to Mike and Genes podcast without whom the european podcast would never have happended!

Thanks Bob, Lisa, Mike, Gene, Daniel, Stanislaw, Nuno, Maynard, Juergen, Emerson, Densign, George, Jane and Mike C for helping the podcast!
